ALROSA produces 60.32 carat diamond at Gornoye field

MOSCOW, May 26 (PRIME) -- Russian uncut diamond mining giant ALROSA has produced a 60.32 carat diamond at the placer field Gornoye, the company said in a statement on Friday.

The octahedron-shaped diamond is transparent with a yellow hint. The company’s specialists estimated the cost of the diamond at about U.S. $174,500.
